1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ZS: Crypto Portfolio ("the App"), you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Zetlo Studio ("we", "us", or "our"), the developer and publisher of the App.
2. Description of Service
ZS: Crypto Portfolio is a mobile application that allows users to:
- Create and manage multiple named cryptocurrency portfolios
- Track cryptocurrency holdings and view estimated fiat valuations
- View real-time and historical cryptocurrency price data from CoinGecko
- Export and import portfolio data via backup files
- Configure app settings including refresh intervals and display preferences
The App is a portfolio tracking tool only. It does not facilitate the buying, selling, or trading of any cryptocurrency or financial instrument.
3. Not Financial Advice
THE APP DOES NOT PROVIDE FINANCIAL, INVESTMENT, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE. The information displayed in the App, including cryptocurrency prices, portfolio valuations, percentage changes, and historical charts, is provided for informational and tracking purposes only.
Nothing in the App should be interpreted as:
- A recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any cryptocurrency or financial asset
- A prediction or guarantee of future prices or portfolio performance
- Tax advice regarding gains, losses, or reporting obligations
- Legal advice of any kind
Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions. Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and speculative. You can lose all of your invested capital.
4. Data Accuracy
4.1 CoinGecko Data
Market data (prices, market capitalizations, historical data) is sourced from CoinGecko via their public API. We do not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. Price data may be delayed, inaccurate, or temporarily unavailable.
4.2 Dependency on Third-Party Services
The App's real-time features depend on the availability and accuracy of the CoinGecko API. We are not responsible for any:
- Downtime or outages of the CoinGecko service
- Inaccurate, delayed, or missing price data from CoinGecko
- Changes to CoinGecko's API that affect App functionality
- Rate limiting that may restrict the frequency of price updates
4.3 Offline / Cached Data
When the App operates offline or when network requests fail, it displays previously cached price data. Cached data may be significantly out of date. Stale data indicators are displayed where applicable, but you should not rely on cached data for time-sensitive decisions.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the App's source code
- Not use the App to engage in any illegal activity, including tax evasion or money laundering
- Maintain the security of your device and your backup files
- Verify cryptocurrency prices through official exchanges and sources before making financial decisions
6. CoinGecko API Usage
The App makes requests to CoinGecko's public API on your behalf. You acknowledge that:
- CoinGecko's own Terms of Service apply to your use of their data through the App
- If you provide your own CoinGecko API key, you are responsible for complying with CoinGecko's API terms and any applicable rate limit agreements
- We reserve the right to modify the App's use of the CoinGecko API at any time, including switching to different data tiers or endpoints
7. Sentry Diagnostics
The App uses Sentry (provided by Functional Software, Inc.) for crash reporting and performance monitoring in production builds. By using the App, you acknowledge that anonymous diagnostic data — including crash reports, performance traces, session replays, and app logs — may be transmitted to Sentry's servers. No personal information or portfolio data is included in this data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy (Section 3.2) and the Sentry Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, brand, logo, and all associated materials, is owned by Zetlo Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal device(s) in accordance with these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App without our express written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs
- Price data will be accurate, complete, or current
- The App will be compatible with all devices or operating system versions
- The App will meet your specific requirements
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ZETLO STUDIO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM:
- Your use of or reliance on the App
- Any investment decision made based on information displayed in the App
- Inaccurate or unavailable price data
- Loss or corruption of your portfolio data
- Unauthorized access to your device or backup files
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is free).
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zetlo Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue or modify the App at any time without notice. These Terms remain in effect until terminated. Your right to use the App terminates immediately if you violate any provision of these Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and subsequently through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
